About Connie Mack

Congressman Connie Mack has been fighting for Florida throughout his distinguished career in public service.  His goal is to promote the ideals of Freedom, Security and Prosperity in our great state.
Connie has fought to reduce the debt, cut spending, lower taxes, and balance the budget. He has stood in strong opposition to failed, irresponsible policies such as the Stimulus, TARP and ObamaCare.  Connie is also the sponsor of the Mack Penny Plan (H.R. 1848) which balances the budget, cuts spending by one percent each year for six years, caps overall spending at 18 percent of GDP, and saves $7.5 trillion over ten years – without raising taxes.
In November 2004, Connie was elected to Congress from Southwest Florida.  He previously served in the Florida House of Representatives from 2000 to 2003. As a member of the Florida Legislature, he established himself as a champion for strengthening our national security, responsible budgeting, and economic freedom.  He was named Deputy Majority Leader in just his second term.

Connie is the great grandson of baseball legend Connie Mack and the son of former U.S. Senator Connie Mack and cancer prevention advocate Priscilla Mack.  He is married to Congresswoman Mary Bono Mack and is the proud father of two children, Addison and Connie, and two stepchildren, Chesare and Chianna.
